Mr. Delmar joined Shaevel & Krems, LLP in spring 2017 and concentrates his practice in all aspects of labor and employment law and real estate management. Tom has experience litigating wage and hour, Family and Medical Leave Act, misclassification, discrimination, hostile work environment, unemployment, and wrongful termination claims. He also represents individuals and labor unions in a variety of matters including collecting bargaining disputes. Tom has further experience in reviewing and negotiating severance and non-compete agreements.
Tom also represents management companies and property owners in real estate management, which includes residential leasing and summary process.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Delmar served as a judicial intern to Honorable Paul C. Dawley, Chief Justice of the Massachusetts District Court, and interned with the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor. Prior to joining our firm, Tom practiced as an Employment Law Litigation Attorney at a mid-sized Massachusetts law firm.
Mr. Delmar grew up and resides in Mansfield, Massachusetts. He received his bachelor's degree from Bryant University. In 2013, he graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School with a Labor and Employment Concentration with distinction. While in law school, Mr. Delmar was awarded the Academic Leadership Scholarship, received honors for his brief writing and oral advocacy, and was a National Trial Team Competitor in the American Association for Justice Trial Competition.
